Urine Monovette® User Guide

Urine testing for annual checks including diabetes, hypertension and kidney monitoring

As part of your annual tests for conditions including those above you may have been asked to provide a urine sample to test for the Albumin Creatinine Ratio which helps us check the health of your kidneys.

The containers in which you should provide a urine sample has changed.

We will continue using the pots with the white tops to test for possible urine infections but from now on please pass urine into a cup and use the yellow top syringe type container to collect an appropriate amount from the cup.

Please collect the complete kit from reception to do this.

Please see the guide for instructions or click on the video below that.  The video is the official one created by the company who provide these and is hosted on YouTube; we have no control over any adverts they may show before the video launches, thank you for your understanding.  It is only the first half of the video that is relevant to the sample you have been asked to provide.

Please remember that this sample should be an ‘Early Morning Urine’ sample which means it would ideally be the first urine you pass that day.
